Terms of Service
Effective: May 19, 2026 · Last updated: May 19, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LASLINT Operations Hub (the "Service") provided by Land Air & Sea Logistics Int LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("LASLINT," "we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is intended exclusively for business use. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 18 years old and are authorized to act on behalf of the business you represent.
1. The Service
LASLINT is a licensed property broker (subject to authorities issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration under 49 U.S.C. §13904). The Service is a software platform that supports our brokerage operations and the operations of carriers, shippers, and dispatch agents we work with — including quoting, dispatching, carrier vetting, document collection, communications, and reporting.
LASLINT is a property broker, not a motor carrier. LASLINT does not transport freight itself; it arranges transportation through authorized motor carriers. The relationship between LASLINT and any motor carrier is that of independent contracting parties, and motor carriers are solely responsible for the transportation services they provide.
2. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be at least 18 years old, of legal capacity, and authorized to bind the business you represent to these Terms. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Providing accurate, current, and complete information when you create an account and keeping that information up to date.
- Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, LASLINT grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Service for the lawful business purposes for which it is intended. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by LASLINT.
4. Roles and your data
The Service supports several user roles (e.g., administrator, dispatcher, sales agent, carrier representative, shipper contact, agent, external broker, viewer). Your role determines what information you can see and what actions you can take. Records you create or upload in the Service remain attributable to your account for audit and accountability purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, retain, and share information.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including any purpose that violates FMCSA regulations, sanctions laws, anti-money-laundering laws, or applicable privacy laws.
- Misrepresent your identity, your authority, your insurance status, your operating authority, or the identity of any driver or vehicle.
- Upload, transmit, or store any content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or that contains malware.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, copy, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits such activity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Use the Service in connection with double-brokering or any other practice that misleads a shipper or carrier about the identity of the responsible party for a shipment.
6. Carrier and driver verification
The Service collects driver-identification photographs (face and name visible), photographs of the truck and license plate at pickup, motor-carrier and USDOT numbers, and certificates of insurance, solely for the purpose of verifying carrier identity at pickup and preventing double-broker fraud. Carriers and drivers participate in this verification voluntarily as a condition of accepting a load from LASLINT. Verification by LASLINT does not constitute a warranty or guarantee of any carrier's performance, financial condition, or compliance with law; carriers are independent contractors solely responsible for their own operations.
7. Customer responsibilities
If you are a shipper or shipper's representative, you are responsible for:
- Accurately describing the freight, including weight, dimensions, commodity, and any hazardous-materials classification.
- Properly loading, blocking, bracing, and securing freight in compliance with 49 CFR Part 393, when not performed by the carrier.
- Providing all required shipping documentation (bills of lading, commercial invoices, customs documents for international shipments, etc.).
- Paying invoices in accordance with the agreed payment terms reflected on rate confirmations or shipping documents.
8. International shipments
For shipments that move to or from international ports — including Canada, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Ghana, and Nigeria — LASLINT may coordinate with port agents, freight forwarders, and customs brokers in the destination country. Those parties act as your service providers for the international leg of the shipment. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of customs declarations, commercial invoices, and any documents required by the laws of the country of origin or destination.
9. AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial-intelligence features to draft proposed quotes, replies, outreach, and other communications. Any output generated by these features is a suggestion for your review, not a final decision or a binding communication. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness before sending or acting on it. We provide no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any AI-generated output.
10. Cargo loss, damage, and claims
As a property broker, LASLINT is not the carrier and does not assume the contractual obligations of a carrier under the Carmack Amendment (49 U.S.C. §14706) or otherwise. Any claim for cargo loss, damage, or delay lies against the responsible motor carrier, not against LASLINT. LASLINT will use commercially reasonable efforts to assist shippers in identifying the responsible carrier and in routing claims to that carrier.
11. Fees and payments
Fees for the Service, if any, will be communicated to you separately or set out on a load-by-load basis through rate confirmations. Payment terms applicable to freight charges, accessorial charges, and any other amounts owed are governed by the applicable rate confirmation, master agreement, or written agreement between you and LASLINT. Past-due amounts may accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by Virginia law.
12. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to use the other party's confidential information only to perform under these Terms and not to disclose it to third parties except to employees, contractors, and agents who have a need to know and who are bound by comparable confidentiality obligations. This Section does not apply to information that is public, independently developed without reference to confidential information, or required to be disclosed by law or legal process.
13. Intellectual property
LASLINT and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, designs, trademarks, and content we provide. You retain all right, title, and interest in and to the records, files, and data you upload to the Service ("Your Content"), and you grant LASLINT a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate and improve the Service for you and to comply with law.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LASLINT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY CONTENT (INCLUDING AI-GENERATED CONTENT) WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL LASLINT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, OR LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF LASLINT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. LASLINT'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO LASLINT FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIVE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($500).
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY FOR (i) GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, (ii) FRAUD, OR (iii) ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LASLINT and its officers, managers, employees, and agents from any third-party claim arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, or (c) any content or information you submitted to the Service that is inaccurate, misleading, or unlawful.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account using the public form at /account-deletion. Provisions intended to survive termination — including Sections 12–18 and any obligation to pay accrued amounts — will survive.
18. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Henrico County, Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each party waives any right to a jury trial.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will post the updated Terms here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
20. Miscellaneous
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any rate confirmations or written agreements between you and LASLINT, constitute the entire agreement between you and LASLINT regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the same subject. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; any unauthorized assignment is void.
